ARTUZ Launches the “Bridge To Belong” Education Reintegration Assessment Bot* The Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) is proud to launch the Bridge To Belong Education Reintegration Assessment Bot, a digital platform created to support returning Zimbabwean families and ensure that every child has the opportunity to access education without discrimination or unnecessary barriers.
The Bridge To Belong campaign recognises that returning home should never mean losing the right to education. Every learner deserves to belong, to learn, and to thrive.Through this simple assessment, which takes approximately three minutes to complete, returning families can share information about their educational circumstances.
The data collected will strengthen ARTUZ’s advocacy for the reintegration of learners and teachers, not excluding helping in identifying the support needed by families as they resettle.Beyond advocacy, ARTUZ will also mobilise humanitarian support for returning families based on the needs identified through the assessment.
This support may include school fees assistance, stationery and learning materials, school uniforms, psychosocial support, legal assistance, referral services, and other forms of community support made possible through partnerships and well-wishers.
We call upon returning Zimbabweans, teachers, school authorities, community leaders, civil society organisations and the general public to use and share the Bridge To Belong Education Reintegration Assessment Bot with anyone who may benefit from it.
