The Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (ARTUZ) was founded in order to defend the dignity of teachers and fight for equal access to education for every child. Born out of a collective resolve to challenge unfair policies that sidelined rural teachers, ARTUZ has grown into a strong voice for labor justice, free and compulsory education, and fair treatment of all teachers across Zimbabwe.
